I had the handbrake issues too. Setting to min didn't fix it. Reflashing the firmware didn't fix it. Going back to 380 fixed it straight away.
The other issue I had with 381 was after upgrading I jumped straight in to AMS2 and my throttle and clutch were reversed. However in the wheel properties page all would work fine (apart from the odd handbrake issue above). I can also confirm going back to 380 has fixed this too. Odd.
how are the pedals connected? directly into the base or via USB? maybe it sounds like a stupid question, but you used the correct plug on the base to connect the pedals?
there we have your problem, never ever use multiple cables on the pedals. You might have broken your board on your pedals by doing so and that's the reason they are neither shown nor do they work. Please contact the support.
Works fine besides the issues that where mentioned on release altough I have more jolts now then with the 380. An issue I do stil have, and it's been here for quite a long time now, is that the clutch is not recognised when I connect my CSW to the DD1 base. I then have to remove it and connect it again for to work. Is this a known bug and if so, will it be adressed in near future? I love having new features but even more I would like to have basic features working flawless (or as near flawless as possible)
I've just bought a new Podium wheel / PBME / APM and hub to use on my DD1 PS4.
I've been using v381 with my PS4 F1 wheel (WB FW 680, WB Motor FW 40, Steering Wheel FW 38 and WQR FW 6).
Got my new wheel yesterday, built it up, updated the firmware (Steering Wheel FW 15, Podium Hub FW 4). No issues during update. Tested all the buttons / functions on PC diagnostics. Setup Centre and Shifter calibration through PBME, Setup tuning options though PBME - all worked fine.
Problem - Mode change doesn't work - mode change works with my PS4 F1 rim
I followed the printed instructions (11/2019) provided with the unit, then when I saw your reply I downloaded the online guide (12/2019) to snip in a picture of the buttons to press and guess what, they've changed! Just tested my unit now, changes through the modes.
I won't post the one in my quick guide to avoid confusion.
Run the repair function of the driver installation while the base is plugged in and running
Try the updates again
If the updates don't work, download an older driver like 346 and try if the update process is running with this version
If it doesn't work with any of these, please contact support, if its running with 346, try again with 381 and zip and send the log files from C:\Users\Public\Fanatec Logs
I solved my own issue here thanks to a guy on ACC forum: MPS needs to be set to "Pulse". I think I read somewhere here that it should be on "Constant" hence mentioning this. "Constant" doesn't work for ACC for any fanatec wheel apparently...
They have to be set to Constant to work as intended, Pulse is only needed when you want to map a button in the options because when set to Constant the constant signal would be interfere with the bind you wanna do.
Is there still a chance the Podium Button Module Endurance will receive support for the CSL Elite wheelbase? I have one sitting here collecting dust :(
It was only confirmed that the CSL Elite PS4 Base could get support for the BME sometime next year. Nothing was confirmed (or denied) for CSL Elite v1 and v1.1 though. So if you have one of the normal non-PS4 CSL Bases you might be better looking to sell the BME (or the CSL and upgrade to a compatible Wheel Base).
Hello i was updating everything to the latest 381 Firmware and everything updated properly except for the PBME. The update the update on the PBME failed at 23% and the screen on the PBME froze. I closed the update software and rebooted the wheelbase and tried updating again but the PBME no longer showed up on the software. I tried reinstalling the 381 driver and tried a older driver as well but the PBME does not show up. The PBME screen and buttons do not work in games either. I believe the firmware on the device is corrupted and just needs to be reinstalled. Is there a procedure to boot the PBME into bootloader mode to reinstall the original firmware?
thats unfortunate ive tried sending them a msg but the website is a little broken with all the black friday traffic lol so much for my weekend of simracing

Directly into the base and I tried with and without usb I used the correct plug to connect I tried it multiple times
Did you connect the pedals with the USB plug AND the RJ12 cable at the same time?!
Yes I did

Ok but they were shown on my PC
DD1, driver 381 - main fw v680 - motor fw v40

Any ideas?
Are you sure you use the correct button combination to change mode...?
as standalone or within the property page of your base? please try another Rj12 cable. Im still sure something broke when you used both connections.
Yes but no!

Many thanks
Ah yes, thought this will be the case because the printed one is outdated since a lot of months...
Please try the following
Did you read the quick guide and manual?
Can you check if the inputs of the pedals are working in the driver?
In which game can't you use them, is it in all games?
did you try to manual map the input? Some PC games require this.
Thanks for the clarification and sorry that the printed one was wrong.
HI, I have a question about installing the latest driver.
When updating my wheelbase, CS 2.5, should I leave my CS V3 pedals and F1 steering wheel attached?
Thanks,
Steve
Currently running 373 FW with 22 FW for the motor.
V3 pedals and F1 steering wheel with 328 FW.
First of all, yes please leave the pedals and steering wheel attached while updating the included FWs of driver 381.
Second, there are no FWs 373 or 328, these are driver numbers ;)
Please update everything to be up to date in the order the devices are shown.

Ok thanks for the heads up. I bought the PS4 F1 bundle so I should be good. Cant wait to use the BME with my Porsche rim!
Ah good! Still no ETA was announced even for the PS4 CSL Base so it might still take some months...

My current setup.
DD1 playstation edition
Podium steering wheel porsche 911
Inverted v3 pedals
clubsport shifter
clubsport handbrake
press and hold the start button for 10 secs, this will set the base into bootloader mode.
so which ones the start button? lmao and once in bootloader mode can i use the same driver package to flash the FW?
bootloader mode won't help you with the BME Im afraid. Better to contact the support about the failed update ...
thats unfortunate ive tried sending them a msg but the website is a little broken with all the black friday traffic lol so much for my weekend of simracing
Hi @ Maurice Böschen,
i received my DD1 yesterday and i updated the base firmware and motor firmware.
Should i click on "Erase Motor Calibration" in the driver proberty page after the motor update, or should i do nothing ?
Greetings
