V3 pedals with damper

To anyone using the damper kit on the V3 brake pedal. Do you use the performance kit as well with the damper. I have the V3 pedals with the hardest green/green performance kit installed. If I was to add a damper on this as they are now will I benfit from the damper as well or would I have to go to a softer pedal to use with the damper kit.
