Stupid question: In order to update the firmware on my wheels* does each need to be subsequently connected to the DD1 base while its connected to the computer to check for updates? Note that I'm on PS4. *I have a F1 wheel and the Porsche GT3 wheel with the Endurance Module.
After installing and well I can't see my pedals anymore or adjust them when I double click it goes to the wheel itself. That's my first issue. Next is total lack of ffb. I used to have settings in the tuning / on the wheel stuff down to 040 and in iracing I had ffb to 8.5. Now to achieve the same level of resistance I have to first get all wheel settings to 100% next in iracing 20 instead of 8.5. Also after 90 degree on turning it just slips and goes no resistance. Like it didn't before. I run oval / Nascar so not feeling stuff after 90 degree wheel turning is absolutely horrifying. I used to run v347 which just ran perfect and if any of you guys can't help me I'm going back to that. Also where has ABS gone in tuning settings?
So then how do I get it to display information as it is here? Right now it only shows one display at a time ie speed and gear changes. More settings to tweak in the PBME?
Press and hold Tuning Menu Button and turn the Funky Switch 4 times to get to page 4 of that special image. Fanalab 1.47 has to be running, BME has to be on firmware 13.
The new firmware improved the rotary encoders on all wheels, yes. It’s not possible to do it any better afaik, so if a click is still missing, then it is what it is (because of the old technical components which are used in the old Universal Hub it’s just Limited in how it works).
Just updated drivers on my DD1. I uninstalled old driver/restart/install new driver/restart and calibrated everything for the wheel base and wheel base is working fine. Updated firmware on Formula V2 with no issues. When I try to update firmware on my Podium hub this happens and the screen on the DD1 turns off. The pc no longer recognizes the DD1 until I power down the DD1 and turn it back on.
Edit :Yeah. Downgraded to 365, then 347. It works!!! I think you should make 347 CSW 2.5 driver, and the rest DD. Perhaps even have 2 drivers. CSL/CSW and DD's
Edit2: yeah. Can confirm 347 has no ''chirping'' sound when turning the wheel or in certain position when not playing. After all fan is super smooth and silent. The disadvantage is there's no mouse-tuning in the menu. But I do not use that feature
Would advise not to use 365 and 372 if you have a CSW 2.5
Thank you so much for this tip. I saw my DD2 after I installed the driver and repaired. But, lost visibility when I updated the firmware. The DD2 and Formula V2 wheel had reset to XBOX mode. Changing to PC mode fixed it. I was on the verge of rolling back to 3.56 and I really wanted to try the new driver after watching Boosted Media's review of the driver today. Highly recommend his YouTube channel for detailed explanations of sim hardware and software.
I have the knock of too, I wasn't sure, and I'm not home since yesterday and had little time to test, but I had the impression when I turned off the base that I heard the knock, now Justin is saying the same thing I felt...
anyone had this problem yet? I installed the new drivers but when clicking flash firmware it shows flash erased no response from the device. operation failed. since then I can only shut down the base completely by unplugging the power cable and when plugging it back in I push the power button and the fan starts running at high speed but there remains a black screen on the display I can press the power button 10sec then the restart / update wheel window pops on the screen but then it is the same no response from the device. i tried the old drivers again and it stays the same
Updated from version 365, installed a new driver 372, updated the base firmware, updated the motor firmware, started updating the steering wheel firmware v2 and an error occurred that is in the picture, now the base does not see the wheel !!!! WHAT TO DO NEXT?????

Maurice, Sascha, Marcel.
Indeed, after some tests here I am also increasingly convincing myself that my problem may be some DD base hardware.
A question:
I bought my products at Fanatec USA / Canada, can I send them to an RMA at Fanatec Europe?
I have a student who always travels to England and there is a Fanatec trade zone.
I live in Brazil which is not a Fanatec trade area.
Then he could send it from there to me, reducing my expenses.
You need the driver 372 installed on your PC, then flash the respective firmware for each device e.g. Wheelbase, Motor, Steering Wheel.
Obviously you need them connected to the PC while doing so.

Hi Marcel,
What about the missed click bug with the rotary encoder on UHub for PC (so the one without firmware, not the UHubX) ? Is it fixed?

Got it. Something to check once the 6 Hours of Spa is done...thanks!

You have enabled the toggles in Fanalab, set Vibration strength to 10 and have Shock set to 100 in the Tuning Menu?
Working fine for me.

DD1 or DD2?
DD2...
The knock is much less intense than it used to be...
With my DD1 also still have the knock during shutdown. But it is indeed less intense, but still there.
And I don’t think it can get any better, so you might see it as fixed and don’t worry about it anymore, it’s still harmless.
Hi guys,
I just uptated my DD2 and PBME with latest versions. (Driver 372 and Fanalab 1.47).
Everything works completely fine but I can't understand how to put the telemetry (ITM) on the PBME (wheel) and not on the wheel base.
The ITM works fine on the DD2 but I want it on the wheel.
Someone knows how to do that ?
Thansk a lot
As explained in the Quick Guide of the BME: press and hold Tuning Menu Button, turn Funky Switch to switch through the pages on the BME.
Thanks for your answer Maurice.
I tried to do that but when I do, the pages changes only on the wheel base nothing happens on the BME.
Am I doing something wrong ?
Yeah, you need to TURN the funky switch, not pressing them left/right. Pressing is for DD ITM, Turning is for BME ITM.
OMG I was turning it but in the wrong way xD I was making circles with the funky switch but I get it now.
Thank you very much I should have ask you a few hours ago ;)
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
