Formula V2 rotary encoders in ACC 1.5.2 - work on options screen, but not while driving.

Hi, I just got a Formula V2 wheel today, and also just updated ACC with the 1.5.2 patch that hit steam today.

In the ACC options menu, with MPS=PULSE it works pretty consistently - (in the ACC Options/Controls Menu)

In game, the controls have no effect.

Are they car -dependent?

I apologize if this is a repeat question - I am sure I've seen this discussed recently, but could not find the post.
