Podium hub

I have a question regarding this thing.....
some time ago someone posted a video showing the podium hub mounted to a DD2 I think, only it had a huge amount of flex in it. I don't remember who posted the video, and I can't find it again.
My point is, has there been a solution to this so it is safe to purchase the podium hub, which I kind of would like to, but on the other hand I don't know if I dare to.....?

and no I am not thinking about Barrys review video of the DD2 in which he uses a universal hub fo xbox, not the podium hub.....
I have the same question.
Here's that video with an issue, I believe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Gjs5N6BC-8&feature=youtu.be
There's also a video from simracing garage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy-Wv24p3Jw
You can see a concerning fix with a plastic adapter... for a wheel base for 1K+$.
I just ordered one podium hub as a cheap alternative to a universal hub without buttons (for drifting wheel only) but little bit worried about this. It will come to my place in a two weeks, so I'll know about how good is it only then.
Also I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2slxjJBcZA
Seems like there's some info about how to reproduce and fix this issue without a plastic ring. Can somebody confirm this?
I worried about this a lot, as would like to order Porsche 911 GT3 R wheel and this is not 199 euro as it is for podium hub.
Can somebody post their config, if you have/don't have any issues: base and wheel? Please. Let's collect some stat
Thank you.
I just checked and noticed that Verner mentioned that video from Simracing Garage and Barry had a Universal hub in there. Also in the video, where a guy is kind of solving the flex issue - is not about podium hub.
But correct me if I'm wrong: all fanatec solutions have the same QR mechanism including universal hub, V2 or podium hub. Is it true?
I don't have a QR from fanatec as of now, so can't compare.
