Sequential shifter ALWAYS getting the same exact input mapping than the wheel paddles.
I bought a CSL Elite PS4 few weeks ago, after my old Porsche GT2 broke. I connected my
old H pattern shifter to the CSL SHIFTER1 port and my old sequential shifter to SHIFTER2 port.
Both work ok, but the problem is that the sequential shifter always get the same exact input mapping than the wheel paddles. In any game. I would like to map different function to the sequential shifter than for the paddles, but I don't know how.
The manual specificly states:
that the shifters are mapped to different inputs. Why are they recognized in games as exactly the same inputs?
I would like to use the seq shifter sometimes as the Ebrake, how could I map it as a different input then?

which "old" H-Shifter and SQ shifter do you mean?
Do you have the checkbox to map SQ to Paddles unticked in the driver?
I copypasted from an email so maybe the images aren't show up.
I meant these shifters: https://i.imgur.com/Hn7tf1a.png
And this is what the manual states: https://i.imgur.com/GxKOSnX.png
Checkbox to map SQ to Paddles is unticked in the driver. Ticking makes it behave exactly the same in games.
That is a VERY old shifter which is not supported by any new Fanatec Base afaik. I think only the ClubSport Shifter is supported, but not 100% sure...
Both shifters work, it's just that the sequential is mapped with exactly the same inputs as the paddles in the wheel, instead of different ones, as the manual says.
Yeah I understand, and that could be because these shifters are not officially supported...
Where does it say they are "not officially supported"?
