All I want to do is give Fanatec money

I am saddened to report that, like many, Fanatec are failing to respond to tickets.
Using the Fanatec App one day and it declared there was a firmware update so I allowed it to update my unit. 2 Hours later I reluctantly terminated the app as it was clearly hung, my pedals now sit in the corner, useless.
My Pedals are out of warranty and I'm prepared to simply buy a replacement board for them (despite Fanatec killing them with their app) but how the heck are we supposed to move forward with these things if they won't even talk to us?
It would seem to me that, in this competitive market, they should be working harder to retain customers, not flip them off by ignoring them.

fanatec does have also bootloader mode for case when something fails, but when is needed todo wqr firmware install then it always needed first remove the steering wheel
Ooooh, how do I get info on that?
I looked into that process but the unit simply isn't recognized at all. The pedal update sequence fails because the PC simply does not see the board.
"device not detected
Verify device is in bootloader mode"
they may not send replacement pcb board tho if that is case.
I would be happy to buy one.
Giving Fanatec fair warning. I'm going to order a new set, switch the boards and send it back. Thanks for your help DB's
