Something wrong with my Gran Turismo DD Extreme wheel
Something is wrong with my Gran Turismo DD Extreme wheel. Since day one, I have been experiencing issues with the LEDs and the wheel's display. I have tried several versions of the Fanatec Control Panel and Fanalab, but I’ve never managed to get them to work properly. It’s frustrating.
I will now detail the exact issues I’m experiencing:
This wheel has configurable buttons called the D-Pad. However, no matter how I set up the configuration, only the LED on the top-left button lights up. On rare occasions, I have managed to get all of them to light up, but the colors are random.
Regarding the Intelligent Telemetry (ITM), when it works, it’s amazing. However, most of the time, it doesn’t update the information on the display. For instance, between sessions in iRacing, it stops working and only shows the speed. Additionally, since I updated FanaLab, the message "SET GEAR PRESS OPTIONS" appears.
I am attaching a photo of the wheel right after turning it on, where you can clearly see both problems: the D-Pad LEDs are off except for one, and the display shows the incorrect message. I’m also including my driver versions for reference:

Here are two more photos of the Fanalab configuration so you can see how the LEDs should look and what the ITM display should show.
As you can see, something is wrong with the wheel's configuration.
Freezing ITM data and Dpad LEDs not lighting properly are known Firmware issues to be fixed at some point in the future.
Thank you very much for your response. It’s not something I like to hear, especially since I bought it on pre-order and have been dealing with these issues from the very beginning without a proper solution. But well, sometimes these things happen, right?
